These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Follinfo application, website, and related services (collectively, "Follinfo"). By using Follinfo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Service description (export-only analysis)
Follinfo analyzes follower relationship data from files that you voluntarily request and download from Instagram and then upload to Follinfo. To make our model unambiguous:
- Follinfo only analyzes files that you choose to export from Instagram.
- Follinfo does not collect, store, or transmit your Instagram password.
- Follinfo does not log into your Instagram account on your behalf.
- Follinfo does not access Instagram accounts directly through Instagram’s servers.
- Follinfo does not provide bots, auto-follow, auto-like, scraping, or any form of Instagram automation.
2. No affiliation with Instagram or Meta
Follinfo is an independent product. Follinfo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram and related trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
3. Eligibility and your responsibilities
You are responsible for the files you upload to Follinfo, for confirming you have the legal right to use the data they contain, and for complying with any applicable laws or third-party terms (including Instagram’s) that govern your access to the data.
4. Subscriptions, free trials, and billing
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple App Store, Google Play, and/or RevenueCat where applicable; their store policies and billing terms apply. Subscriptions renew on the schedule disclosed at the point of purchase until canceled.
- Free trials may be limited per device, per Apple ID / Google account, and per payment method. Follinfo may deny repeat trial attempts, including those made after uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing app data, or using modified clients.
- Cancellation is your responsibility and must be completed through your Apple, Google, or RevenueCat-managed account dashboard before the next renewal date. Billing remains in effect until that cancellation is recorded by the platform.
- Refunds are governed by the platform that processed the purchase (Apple, Google, or RevenueCat). Follinfo does not directly process card payments.

5. Anti-abuse and security enforcement
To protect platform integrity and other users, Follinfo may restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts and access where we detect or reasonably suspect:
- use of modified or unauthorized clients, emulators, or instrumented runtimes;
- reverse engineering, tampering with, or bypassing security or licensing controls;
- free-trial abuse, repeated trial attempts across identifiers, or attempts to reset usage limits by clearing app data or reinstalling;
- referral abuse, including inviting accounts you control or fabricating referral qualification through duplicate uploads;
- manipulation of identity tokens, request payloads, or other server-validated state;
- automated, scripted, or scraping access; and
- any conduct that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Where the issue results from abuse or violation, restriction or termination may occur without refund, except where required by law or the platform’s store policies.
6. Uploads and retention
Uploaded files are processed temporarily to generate your analysis and report. Follinfo may delete raw uploads automatically after processing and retain only the analytics outputs needed to deliver the product. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of any data you wish to preserve outside Follinfo.
7. Security
Follinfo applies reasonable technical and operational measures to protect your data, including transport encryption, backend validation, access controls, fraud-prevention systems, and abuse-detection telemetry. No system is perfectly secure, and Follinfo does not promise absolute or impenetrable protection. Where we identify a security issue, we will respond consistent with the seriousness of the issue.
8. Infrastructure dependency and Instagram export changes
Follinfo depends on the availability and structure of Instagram’s data export system and on third-party infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, payment processing, error monitoring, and similar). If Instagram changes its export format or access rules, some Follinfo features may temporarily or permanently degrade or stop working. We will make reasonable efforts to adapt, but we cannot guarantee continuous functionality of features that depend on third-party systems we do not control.
9. Insights, predictions, and AI-generated recommendations
Where Follinfo presents analytics, predictions, growth insights, or AI-generated recommendations (for example, in Creator-tier features), those outputs are informational only. Follinfo does not promise, warrant, or guarantee follower growth, engagement, reach, revenue, or any other social-media or business outcome. Do not rely on Follinfo outputs as professional advice.
10. Prohibited misuse
You must not abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, probe or attack our infrastructure, reverse-engineer protected components, or use the app for illegal activity or to harm third parties.
11. Limitation of liability
Follinfo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Follinfo and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, Follinfo.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Follinfo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
